QuesCom RoHS Compliance statement

QuesCom is committed to providing our customers with environmentally friendly products compliant with the European Union RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive. The RoHS Directive (2002/95/EC) addresses the design phase of products and aims to restrict the use of six hazardous substances from electrical and electronic equipment (EEE), for the protection of human health and the environment, which are :

  • Lead
  • Mercury
  • Cadmium
  • Chromium (VI)
  • Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB)
  • Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE s)

All of these substances are included in a class of substances immediately or gradually being banned by regional or country laws and ordinances. QuesCom is committed to ensuring that the use of these substances ultimately be eliminated from our products so that we can comply with related laws and regulations and reduce the negative impact of these substances on the ecosystem and thereby contribute to the preservation of the global environment.

This includes the use of these substances in all products that are designed, manufactured, sold or distributed by QuesCom.

QuesCom Products delivered after July 2006 are compliant with WEE 2002/96/EC and RoHS 2002/95/EC and its 25 th October, 2005 amendment, depending of their usage class, as described in their respective documentation.
