QuesCom, the leading European provider
of GSM gateways for IP and ISDN environments, today announced that, following
successful compliance testing between Alcatel's Omni PCX Enterprise solution
and the QuesCom 400 IP GSM gateway, the company has joined Alcatel's Application
Partner Program.
The QuesCom 400 IP GSM Gateway will complement Alcatel's
Omni PCX Enterprise solution, the world's most advanced IP-based voice and communications
solutions, by providing end-users with savings of up to 90% on their corporate
phone bills - thereby offsetting the cost of the initial outlay required to
move towards an VoIP environment. The QuesCom 400 IP GSM achieves this by routing
calls automatically to VoIP or mobile providers with the best rates - a great
selling point for Alcatel resellers that are trying to persuade their customers
to migrate to the latest telephony solutions and an immense benefit to both
companies in a highly competitive and cost-sensitive market.
As a member of the Alcatel Application Partner Program, QuesCom
will be able to offer resellers an even higher level of comfort and security.
In addition, the company will benefit from a high degree of support from Alcatel
- including prominent exposure in corporate guides, brochures and website entries
as well as significant backing at trade shows and events.
"QuesCom has enjoyed a long and successful relationship with
Alcatel, and joining Alcatel's Application Partner Program is the next logical
step," comments Teddy Théanne, QuesCom's UK Country Manager. "Through the programme,
we can deliver the QuesCom 400 IP GSM to our channel partners safe in the knowledge
that it officially integrates with one of Alcatel's most renowned VoIP solutions
- which benefits us, Alcatel our resellers and their customers in equal measure."
