QuesCom, manufacturer of advanced telephony solutions, today announced the appointment of Laurent Lhermitte as Sales Manager and International Business Developer.
In his new position, Lhermitte is responsible for opening up critical markets across Spain, Eastern Europe and South America, with a particular emphasis on developing profitable relationships with telcos and Internet Service Providers (ISPs). He is also charged with creating and implementing integrated business plans for each territory.
Commenting on his appointment, Lhermitte said: “I am extremely happy to be joining QuesCom – one of the worldwide leaders in IP GSM gateway technology. I look forward to introducing the QuesCom 400 range to these new, dynamic and challenging markets and explaining how it can make low-cost, hassle-free migration to Voice over IP communications a reality.”
Lhermitte brings a vast amount of telecommunications and IT sector experience to his new role at QuesCom. From 2001 until 2005, he was the International Sales Manager, Carrier Services, for French network operator, Completel, where he consistently achieved the best sales and margins results within the company. Prior to that, he spent four years at SAGEM, where he was responsible for selling new mobile phones to service operators.
Lhermitte graduated from the ACI-NEGOCIA Business School, Paris, in International Business. He also a qualification in Marketing Management from London Middlesex University and in Spanish Culture and The Economy from the Madrid Chamber of Commerce Business School.
